Favorite Fall Fragrances and Giveway!

I have to admit, I am a smell-a-holic. I love things that smell nicely, not overpowering or offensive. I grew up with a mother who burned more candles than anyone I know, I love lighting pretty candles throughout our home every night, even during the day. I have purchased a candle warmer and for $4.00, I think this is something everyone should have. Your candles will last for such a long time and it is a safe alternative to burning when you have little ones running around the house like I do.
I really don't burn alot of candles during the summer but once school starts something in me clicks and I am rummaging through my stash to find just the perfect scent to welcome my family home at night. Here are a few of my all time favorite fragrances. I have not purchased any candles yet this year, I am trying to burn up my stash that was left over from last year before I switched to my winter fragrances. My supply is running low, I think I need to make a run to Swan Creek! I can buy 18 candles for $20 and mix and match all I want.
What are your favorite fragrances this year? I am always wanting to try something new.
***I have had so many new visitors over the past few weeks, in honor of our new friendship, I am giving away a Glad*e Scented plug in with my favorite apple cinnamon scent refills, leave a comment or email me and I will have my lovely assistant draw the winner's name. I will leave it open until Wednesday night****

I was at a friends house a few years ago and her house smelled soooo good, I had to ask what that fragrance was and where it was coming from, she told me it was this. I love these apple cinnamon scented oil plug ins by Glad*e. Even Mark asks what smells so nice when I have these plugged in. It is a great way to add fragrance to your home without worrying about blowing out all of the candles before bedtime! I have these on all 3 levels of our home, it is a pleasant surprise when we go down to the basement and it smells yummy instead of basement-like!

My neighbor bought me a scentport for my birthday from Bath and B*dy Works. It uses little ports full of scented oils. I always love their pumpkin fragrances that they carry. They used to have a caramel apple that I loved but not any more. I want to try the new pumpkin caramel fragrance.

My favorite candles come from Swan Creek Candle Company. Usually the stores are located in a small downtown historic building and they also have an antique gallery inside. Any of their fall frangrances smell so good that I want to eat them! They are soybean candles and burn clean. So nice! I know you can purchase them online by visiting here. My favorite all time, all year scent is Mullbery and Mandarin.

How can you go wrong with Yank*ee Candles? I am so excited that they have brought back Apple Cider. I have a hard time with apple scented candles (read previous post)but this does not bother me at all and it has become a standard in our home during the fall. I think our all time favorite through the years has been the buttercream fragrance, it smells like I have been baking all day long! Right now I am burning a spiced pumpkin tart in my tart warmer and the house smells so yummy!

I am the same way there is just something about opening the door to your home and the welcoming smell surrounding you. We are busy making apple pies today and I can't wait to have my house smell homey.

I can't resist anything pumpkin or apple scented!

We must be on the same page because I just got out a Yankee Candle this morning! I don't burn them in the summer months either. My new favorite (from last winter) is Pomegranate Cider. Love it. I like all the spicey ones... apple cider, spiced pumpkin, harvest, and home for the holidays.

Your my kind of girl! I too love candles! As you know I don't have a problem asking what's that scent either (Myah's party - lower bath) :)

I've been using the clean cotton as well this summer, very nice.

Oh, Yankee Candle's Buttercream is my favorite! My cousin bought one for me a few years ago and it became my favorite right away. I also have the pumpkin spice, which I love to burn during autumn. I think its time I got them out and used them!

I LOVE Yankee candles and the Harvest Scent and Pumpkin are scrumptious. Although, yesterday I bought some Apple cider candles for $1.00 at Dollar General and they are not bad at all.
This is a great post, as I too love scents of Autumn.

I love the Bath and Body works scented oils and the plugins! They last longer than most I have tried and the fall lines are heavenly!

We just tried the Autumn Apple Scentport from Bath and Body Works. It smells so good. I put in out entryway and even though it doesn't feel like Fall outside, it does as you step through into our home.

This was a fun post to read and see everyone's favorites.

Another is Stephens candlery...they make cake candles...and their creme brulee is out of this world...it makes are whole house smell yummy. You can find them on line and in Country Sampler magazine. I do the same thing! About a month ago I bought a pumpkin candle at a yard sale for a buck and have been burning that baby every day! It helps get me in the fall mood although it's 87 degrees outside today.

Yes, especially in the fall! Love the spiced apple or pear ones that are not too cinnamony! I do like the Glade one, too, but I really like the Kitchen Spice from B&BW!

I didn't enter your giveaway because I wanted to try that G*lade fragrance right away...I love it! I am also hot for a candle warmer now...I have never used them. Do they melt the candle the same as if you were burning it??
