I found myself smiling too! It reminds me of my grandpa! I can totally hear him saying "this is the day that the Lord has made." Makes me miss him.
I love your blog and am so glad that I stumbled upon it through your sisters blog. You are both so wonderfully human and touching. I've greatly enjoyed reading the older posts - so much of what you've written rings a chord with me.
